In late May, 2010, JMHC, Inc., expanded its services to Nicholas County and surrounding communities with the addition of our Rural Health Clinic, which operates basically like any other physician office.

The RHC was staffed on the opening date by Jana Gantley, APRN, and the clinic welcomed Dr. Adnan Ahmed in early August, 2010. Jana resigned October 29, 2011 to accept a position closer to home. Paula Works, APRN will join the Rural Health Clinic Staff on January 23, 2012. The experienced staff is qualified to see every patient from newborn to elderly.

We readily welcome new patients and offer services such as primary health care, family planning, well-baby exams, women's health, sports physicals, pre-employment physicals and school physicals. Because the clinic has been established as a Rural Health Clinic, in addition to accepting most insurance, the RHC offers a sliding scale for doctor's visits for uninsured patients, based on their income level.

Kami Sexton, MA and Sueann Morgan, Registration Clerk, round out the RHC staff.

The Rural Health Clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Stop by for a visit and we will tell you more about the services we offer.
