Rural Health Clinic

Nicholas County Hospital

Registration Clerk

Full-time Registration Clerk needed for Rural Health Clinic. Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent; computer experience; patient registration and/or medical office experience preferred.

Medical Assistant

Full-time Medical Assistant needed for Rural Health Clinic. Requirements: High School Graduate; trained in collecting vital signs, drawing of blood, etc.; medical office experience preferred; CPR certification.

Hospital Business Office, Billing Clerk I

Full-time employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk I.

Requirements: High School Diploma; computer knowledge and experience; college or technical school medical insurance billing and coding program preferred; 2-3 years experience with hospital billing processes (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, supplemental claims, etc.) Applicants must possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills, have the ability to communicate with the public; is highly dependable and self-motivated

Hospital Business Office, Collection Clerk

Full-time employment opportunity for Collection Clerk.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; computer knowledge and experience; collection experience preferred; basic accounting knowledge; experience with hospital medical billing preferred. Applicants must possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills; have the ability to communicate with the public; and is highly dependable and self-motivated.

Dietary Department, Dietary Cook/Aide

Full-time employment opportunity for a Dietary Cook/Aide.

Previous experience preferred, but not required - will train on-the-job.

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older; highly dependable; self-motivated; and possess strong organizational skills.

Applicants must have the flexibility to work first shift 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as needed, and primarily second shift, 11:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; plus weekend coverage as needed and/or as required.

Environmental Services Worker

Environmental Services Worker needed for Hospital and Nursing Home setting. Applicants must be enthusiastic, caring, with strong organizational and communication skills; be highly dependable and self-motivated.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; commercial painting experience; ability to lift 100 pounds; ability work with geriatric population.

Drug testing and court record background check, along with two (2) forms of identification will be required.
