The Radiology Department is equipped with state-of-the art technology to perform CT scans, mammograms, ultrasounds, bone density studies, as well as routine x-rays.

We're Very Excited!

The latest technology in computed tomography, the Aquillion 16-slice Sprial CT scanner, is offered to Nicholas Countians and other patients. This service has eliminated the need for community residents to go out of town to receive the service.

This technology allows 32 pictures to be taken every second, resulting in both less scan time and increased patient comfort. With this technology, the people of Carlisle and Nicholas County now have available, close to home, the most advanced procedures in computed tomography, including body scans, virtual colonoscopies, lung cancer screenings and other procedures in the forefront of medical technology.
